Randy & Friends, Inc is a 501(c)3 organization that creates significant futures in the Special Needs community. We are a Christian ministry that equips individuals who have special needs with new skills and friendships. The goal of our organization is to help these youth and adults achieve independence and self worth with life skills and employment to sustain them the rest of their lives.
We have a woodworking shop where skills are sharpened and hands are put to good use. Items are sold to the community, proceeds go to the program.Learn more about Randy's Woodworking Shop
We identify and strengthen each individual's abilities and teach them to develop new skills, then we find where those skills and abilities can be applied in our community.Learn more about Employment Training
When I was born, my parents assumed I would have an ordinary life. But God has bigger plans for me. When I was 2 years old, I was hit by a car. My parents were told that if I lived, I would be completely dependent on them for the rest of my life. As you can see, I am very much alive, even though I was left paralyzed and with a traumatic brain injury. That event began a journey that my parents were not prepared for, but God has been with our family each day showing the way. God says, He has every day planned, before we are born. At the time, the accident seemed tragic, but because of it, I have been given opportunities to encourage others who face challenges. God had not taken His eyes off me, but He was giving me a “platform” to tell others how much they are loved by God and that He has a wonderful life planned for them. Randy and Friends was founded by me, and my mother, so others may recognize or see their gifts and share them with others. Our challenges are just ways to give us unique opportunities. I live independently, have a job, serve in my church, serve on 3 Boards. I am here to encourage others to trust God to use their life.
